In partnership with the Emory Eye Center, Emory School of Medicine ophthalmology interest group, and Morehouse School of Medicine ophthalmology interest group, CCHC monthly provides vision services. CCHC also partnered with Georgia Lions Lighthouse to provide low-cost glasses to our patients.
- Glaucoma screening
- Visual field defects
- Assess for the need for glasses (visual acuity)
- Dry eyes
- Eye complications of Diabetes
- Eye complications from high blood pressure
- Referral to a trained ophthalmologist can be made if required
This is a service that occurs on a monthly basis, so appointments get booked up. New patients must acquire an appointment with a CCHC physician for in-take and general exams before in-house referral to the vision clinic.
